I've been a regular for about a year now and can't get enough! Great customer service! The coffee is amazing, and I enjoy any events I'm able to make it to. The coffee shop menu changes with the season, so there's always something new to try. They even have kid friendly options, so your kiddos dont feel left out. The breakfast biscuits are seriously the best around. I could eat a dozen one sitting if I'd let myself. Lots of cool gift shop finds if you enjoy supporting small businesses. The grab and go is great if you want to take a little something home or for a quick meal at work. If they have broccoli and cheese soup, get it before its gone, trust me. Haven't tried the meats on Saturday, but they smell wonderful when I pop in. The bbq sandwiches are fantastic. If you're in the area, stop by and enjoy this little local gem!

It's been a while since I've been here. The bbq is as good as I remember. I've been all over and eaten bbq from a lot of places, but this is one of my favorites in all of NC. The service is friendlier than I remember, although, it was never horrible. I'll say this, they left an item off my order, and I didn't realize it until I got home, but between the service and the food, I can't even complain about that. It was compensated for. I will be back for my missing Mac and Cheese very soon! And I'll even pay for it (again). It's that good y'all!

I am not from the south where BBQ is King, I live in New Jersey but I have had BBQ down south many times as well as in Kansas City and Texas. And I absolutely love this spot. I'ts my new favorite BBQ anywhere! I tried multiple items on the menu from chicken to ribs etc. and enjoyed it all. The employees were as great as the food.

My family enjoyed our first visit to Dickie Do's. I chose the 4 meat platter so I could sample the different offerings they had. The only meat I did not choose was the rib tips which is their 5th meat offering. The meats I chose were: 1. Pork Ribs- over cooked, but it seemed to be a slow day. I can't expect the food to always be fresh when I walk in. 2. Pulled pork- met my expectations for eastern NC bbq style 3. Brisket- good flavor and tender 4. BBQ Chicken- this was my favorite despite chicken not being a favorite of mine. The chicken was fresh out of the oven, had a great rub on it and the flavor was deep into the chicken breast. I highly recommend. I tried their in house sauces which were both great on the brisket and pulled pork. The do have Sweet Baby Ray's available with their house sauces if you need more for the ribs. I chose the collards as my side which had an interesting flavor. Maybe basalmic vinegar? It's wasn't bad, but it wasn't good enough for me to want to make it the same way at my house. Their corn bread was sweet like a cake. This is how I prefer it. The indoor dining area was nice. Not too small but it wasn't large by any means. The bathroom was super clean. There's a little sign on a shelf requesting you tell the staff if it is dirty or out of stock and they claim they don't like messes either. *They apparently take this seriously as it was clean and stocked. I enjoyed the sign in the bathroom: Wash your hands and say your prayers because Jesus and germs are everywhere. Lastly, I would be remised if I didn't mention that the staff was very kind to my family. It did have a feeling like Home compared to what you expect at a chain restaurant. Again, it was a slow time of the day. So maybe that contributed to the time they took to greet us and patiently wait on my family. I can't say it's my absolute favorite NC BBQ, but it deserves a revisit, my recommendation, and 5 stars.

I live in Florida and came to visit family that lives in the area. Having BBQ while visiting NC is a must, so we came in for lunch and it did not disappoint! We basically tried all of the meats, and they were all delicious! The fruit cobbler was pretty good too! I will come back whenever I’m visiting

Perfect dinner on the patio! Tender, flavorful pulled pork and a delicious homemade barbecue sauce. Cornbread was a hit, and all the sides we had were excellent. Look forward to coming back.
